The 25-year-old has been in impressive form this season, scoring 11 goals and assisting seven in the Bundesliga. His performances place him as the league’s second-highest scorer, just behind Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane.
United, struggling to find consistency under new manager Ruben Amorim, sees Marmoush as a potential boost to their underperforming attack, which have produced just 13 goals in 12 Premier League games.
Sky Deutschland reports that Marmoush’s transfer could cost the English club between €50 million and €60 million. The forward, who is under contract with Eintracht Frankfurt until 2027, has reportedly attracted interest from several top European clubs.
Marmoush has become a key figure for Frankfurt after joining from VfL Wolfsburg and is also a regular starter for Egypt’s national team. His versatility and goal-scoring ability have made him a standout player this season.
The report also highlights that Manchester United are exploring other options to strengthen their squad, including Bayer Leverkusen’s Victor Boniface and Bayern Munich’s Alphonso Davies.
Neither Manchester United nor Eintracht Frankfurt have commented on the speculation. If completed, a move for Marmoush could provide the firepower United need to revive their season.
