Sun 1 Dec, 7pm -9.30pm: "Finding Forgiveness" in this talk, Wassim Sabry will suggest that rather than thinking of the most basic case of forgiveness as a paradigm, thinking about an ideal of forgiveness offers a better way for identifying a paradigm case that would also enable us to see other cases as derivative of it.

Wed 3 Dec, 3pm-5pm: AUC's celebration of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, in collaboration with Helm and Dialogue in the Dark, will feature a panel discussion titled, “Universities as Catalysts for Inclusion and Access,” featuring Maha Helali, adviser to Egypt's Minister of Social Solidarity on Disability Affairs; Iman Karim, general supervisor of the National Council for Persons with Disability; Amena Elsaie '11, co-founder and CEO, Helm; Ahmed Fathy, deputy chair of the Social Solidarity, Family and Persons with Disabilities Committee in the Egyptian Parliament; Jowairya Soliman, Excellence Scholarship recipient. Rabab El-Mahdi ’96, ’98, associate professor of political science, AUC, will moderate the panel.
