The 30-year old striker, who is replacing injured-scorer Wessam Abou Ali, opened his scoring account for Ahly this season in his fifth appearance across all competitions.
It was the first brace of Kahraba, who has been relegated to the bench over the past months, since April when he netted two goals against Enppi in the Egyptian Premier League.
Ahly moved to the top of Groupe C, with Algeria’s Belouizdad set to take on South Africa's Orlando Pirates later on Tuesday.
Kahraba broke the deadlock 14 minutes into the game with a volley shot from inside the box, courtesy of an assist from midfielder Mohamed "Afsha" Magdy.
Afsha extended the lead in the 21st minute, unleashing a low shot from outside the box after a superb assist from winger Taher Mohamed Taher.
Hussein El Shahat joined the scoring frenzy in the 27th minute, capitalizing on a swift assist from Kahraba inside the box to make it 3-0 in favor of the hosts.
Kahraba then doubled his tally four minutes into the second half with another clinical finish from close range. He squandered two chances from point blank to complete his hat-trick.
Stade d’Abidjan managed to break Ahly's clean sheet streak with striker Kassoum Kone capitalizing on a defensive lapse to pull one back 15 minutes before halftime.
Veteran forward Roger Assale added another for the visitors ten minutes later from inside the box.
Despite the visitors' goals, Ahly's defensive prowess had held firm in their previous 12 matches without conceding.
Ahly's next challenge will be against Orlando Pirates in the upcoming away match on December 7, preceding their third-round clash against Belouizdad six days later.
