Twelve citizens, including three children, were killed in an Israeli airstrike targeting the Al-Taa'been school-turned-shelter in the Al-Daraj neighbourhood in Gaza City, according to WAFA news agency.
The Israeli military had previously carried out a large massacre in the Al-Taa'been school in August.
In the Shujaiya neighbourhood, east of Gaza, one Palestinian was killed, and others were injured in an airstrike targeting a house on Baghdad Street.
In northern Gaza, a strike targeting a civilian gathering killed three Palestinians in front of the Kamal Adwan Hospital gate in Beit Lahia, sources told Al Jazeera.
Israeli warplanes also carried out intense airstrikes on Beit Lahia and the surrounding area of Kamal Adwan Hospital, one of which targeted a residential tower, sources and witnesses said.
Additionally, warplanes launched “fire belts” in coordination with heavy and intense artillery shelling on various areas in northern Gaza.
Al Jazeera reported that Israeli forces are forcing displaced people in the Aouni Al-Harthani School in Beit Lahia to leave under threat.
Moreover, witnesses stated that the Israeli army is carrying out home and residential building demolitions in the Jabalia refugee camp, furthering the ongoing ethnic cleansing and genocide in the northern governorate since 5 October 2023.
Meanwhile, the Palestinian Health Ministry stated that the occupation forces committed three massacres across the Gaza Strip, killing 33 people and injuring 134 within the last 24 hours.
The health ministry confirmed that the total number of victims of the Israeli aggression has risen to 44,282 people killed and 104,088 injured since 7 October 2023.
