17th edition of Panorama of the European Film
The annual event launches on 28 November and continues until 7 December, screening a rich selection from the European continent.
Screenings occur at the Zawya Cinema in Downtown Cairo and the Zamalek Cinema.

Fayoum International Film Festival for Climate Environmental Films & Contemporary Art
Running until 30 November
Several venues across Fayoum
Director Hany Lasheen is the first edition’s president.
The festival focuses on contemporary arts, the environment, migration, and climate change by supporting film projects that raise environmental awareness and promote environmental conservation.
It also addresses environmental and climate issues worldwide and organizes lectures, seminars, and artistic and environmental meetings within Fayoum.
Omar Khairat - music

The multi-award-winning Khairat, born in 1947, is one of the top musicians in the Arab world. His repertoire includes hundreds of memorized compositions.
Throughout his long and successful career, he has written scores for numerous films and television series, including The Sixth Day (1984), The Terrorist (1993), Mafia (2002), Girls' Love (2003), The Embassy in the Building (2005), and The Deer’s Blood (2006), to name but a few.
His concerts in Egypt and across the Arab world are usually fully booked weeks ahead of time.
His large fan base memorizes compositions like Heya Di El-Hayah, Fi Hawid El Leil, Arabian Rhapsody, Fiha Haga Helwa, Eadam Mayet, El-Khawaga Abdel-Kader, Giran El-Hana, Saber, Arfa, Qadeyet Am Ahmed, Khali Balak Men Aklak, and other classic hits of time-honoured TV and film themes.
El-Hadra Troupe - concert

El-Sawy Culturewheel, 26th of July Street, Zamalek, Cairo
El-Hadra, composed of vocalists and chanters, presents a spiritual state of religious hymns and praise.
The troupe founded by Nour Nageh performs renditions of classical standard Arabic Sufi poems by Sufi sheikhs explaining their love of Allah and the Prophet’s praise.
Ali Quandil - stand-up comedy

Ali Quandil is one of the stand-up comedy pioneers in Egypt. Over the last 10 years, he has presented 500 shows in more than 20 Egyptian cities, in addition to his shows in Dubai and The Comedy Club in Jeddah.
Quandil founded the first cultural centre for training in the art of stand-up comedy in Egypt and the Arab world through comedy workshops that are attended by many of the known names in Egyptian stand-up comedy today.
Alexandria Opera House String Orchestra - music

The orchestra, led by soloist violin Medhat Abdelsalam, will perform romantic works by renowned composers Felix Mendelssohn, Antonin Dvořák, Edward Elgar, and Julius von Beliczay.
Adele tribute night - music

The night will feature songs by British singer-songwriter Adele.
The award-winning singer has released four albums, two EPs, and numerous singles. Several of her songs have garnered over a billion views on YouTube.
Ali El-Haggar - music

The Tettrat w Zekrayat concert will feature some of El-Haggar’s songs from TV series and shows.
El-Haggar has been one of the best-known singers in Egypt and the Arab world over the past four decades.
His songs carry lyrics drawn from the poetry of Salah Jahin, Abdel-Rahman El-Abnoudy, and Sayed Hegab to music by the country's most renowned composers such as Baligh Hamdy, Sayed Mekkawy, and Omar Khairat, among others.
