Mahmoud Hamada's double gives Masry winning start in Confederation Cup group stage

Masry midfielder Mahmoud scored twice helping his side claim a 2-0 win over Enyimba of Nigeria at Suez stadium in the Confederation Cup group stage opener on Wednesday.

The former international midfielder was on the follow for a rebounded ball to net the first after just six minutes.

The Port-Saidi based side controlled the game and they were close to double the seal in many occasions but they failed to score.

They waited until the 73 rd minute when Hamada met a pinpoint cross from Mohamed El-Shami to fire home.  

Masry are leading the Group which also includes fellow country club Zamalek and Black Bulls of Mozambique.

Defending champions Zamalek will host the Mozambican side later on Wednesday.
