In a statement, Ahly confirmed that sporting director Mohamed Ramadan imposed the penalty after Ashour his protest for being dropped from Tuesday’s CAF Champions League match against Stade d'Abidjan.
Despite Ahly's 4-2 victory over the Ivorian side, which propelled them to the top of Group C on goal difference, Ashour reportedly confronted the coaching staff.
The 26-year-old also had a heated argument with team captain Mohamed El-Shenawy in the dressing room on Wednesday morning and was dismissed from the training.
In addition to the fine, Ashour has reportedly been handed a one-week suspension, which will rule him out of Ahly's Egyptian Premier League clash with NBE Club on Sunday.
However, during the suspension, the midfielder will train separately from the first team.
Ashour recently faced legal trouble after being accused of assaulting a security guard at a shopping mall in Sheikh Zayed City.
He initially received a six-month prison sentence but later reached a financial settlement with the guard, which is expected to close the case.
Ahly, the defending league champions, currently lead the table with seven points from three games, edging out second-placed Pyramids FC on goal difference.
