Marmoush, 25, has been in prolific form this season, netting 14 goals.

Scouts from Barcelona were present at the Europa League clash to evaluate Marmoush, according to reports by Spanish outlet SPORT.

Moreover, representatives from other elite clubs, including Paris Saint-Germain, Tottenham Hotspur, Villarreal, and Borussia Mönchengladbach, were also in attendance, underscoring the growing interest in the Egyptian international.

Barcelona are reportedly considering Marmoush as a successor to veteran striker Robert Lewandowski, whose contract expires soon. His versatility, allowing him to play as both a winger and a central forward, is a key asset for Barcelona.

If Marmoush joins the Catalan giants, he will become the first Egyptian to play for Barcelona, a significant milestone in his burgeoning career.

Fans have already expressed their desire for swift action on social media, urging the club's management to act quickly.

"Marmoush possesses world-class qualities and would be a good fit for Barcelona's financial situation," wrote one supporter on the fan platform Tribuna.com.

Others emphasized his potential to provide a much-needed boost to Barcelona's attack in the upcoming January transfer window.

Barcelona are facing competition for his signature from several Premier League sides, including Liverpool, Manchester United, and Arsenal.

Marmoush's future move could significantly impact his career trajectory and establish him as a top talent in the current transfer market.
