Maher picked up a muscle injury during the defeat to Masry and missed the game against Black Bulls in the Confederation Cup, while Mathlouthi's availability for the upcoming clash remains uncertain after being stretchered off during the African game.

In the absence of Maher, Zamalek's coach will rely on veteran midfielder Abdallah El-Saed and classy winger Ahmed 'Zizo' Sayed, while Mostafa Zenari is expected to step in should Mathlouthi be unavailable.

Zamalek currently occupie sixth place in the league standings with six points, two-point behind league leaders Ahly, who have played one match more.

On the other hand, Ghazl El-Mahalla sit in 12th place with four points from three games.

Ghazl El-Mahalla's spokesperson, Saber Eid, expressed confidence ahead of the match, stating, "The game against Zamalek will be challenging, but we have a history of delivering strong performances and positive results against them in our stadium. We will offer substantial rewards to the players in case of a victory." he concluded.
