During the conference, Abdelatty said Egypt is ready to facilitate the daily entry of substantial aid convoys into the besieged Gaza Strip, provided that field conditions ensure the safe delivery of supplies and protection of relief agencies.

“We stress the urgent priority of an immediate Israeli withdrawal from the Palestinian side of the Rafah crossing, as well as from the Philadelphi Corridor," he added.

"What is required now, and immediately, is a decisive stance to implement UN resolutions and the orders of the International Court of Justice calling for an immediate ceasefire," he stated.

"Once again, we emphasize the critical importance of halting Israeli aggression and violations in the West Bank and rejecting the policy of displacing the Palestinian people, whether from the Gaza Strip or the West Bank,” the foreign minister stressed.

In addition, he hailed the resilience of the Palestinian people in defending their land and rights.

Reaffirming Egypt’s consistent position, Abdelatty condemned attempts by Israel or any other state to act above the law and evade accountability.

The conference was hosted by Foreign Minister Abdelatty and UN Deputy Secretary-General Amina Mohammed.

According to the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the conference aims to secure concrete commitments to sustain the flow of humanitarian aid to Gaza, plan for early recovery, and mobilize international support for the besieged territory.

Seventeen foreign ministers attended the conference, including those from Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Iraq, Lebanon, Tunisia, Palestine, France, Italy, and Brazil.

Several deputy ministers, ambassadors, and delegates from financial institutions and international organizations attended.

Philippe Lazzarini, secretary-general of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), attended.

The United States Ambassador Herro Mustafa Garg attended the conference.
