The Port Said-based club are determined to secure their position at the top of Group D following a commanding 2-0 victory over Nigerian side Enyimba in their opening match last week.
Masry currently shares the lead in Group D with fellow Egyptian side Zamalek, who also faces Enyimba on the same day.
Buoyed by their recent success after defeating Pyramids FC 1-0 in the Egyptian Premier League just days ago, Masry enters this crucial fixture with high ambitions.
Unfortunately, due to injuries, Masry will be without the services of midfielders Karim Bambo, Hussein Faisal, and defender Mohamed Dabash.
"Both Bambo and Dabash will be absent from the clash against Black Bulls Maputo due to ankle injuries, while Faisal is grappling with a muscle injury," stated Masry's team doctor Mahmoud El-Shahat in a release on Saturday.
Conversely, Black Bulls Maputo commenced their Confederation Cup campaign with a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Zamalek in the inaugural round, setting the stage for an intense battle against Masry.
