Moreover, Foundever will establish a state-of-the-art facility in Luxor, which will complement the existing contact centres at Cairo’s Maadi Technology Park and City Stars Business Complex.
The MoU will create approximately 5,000 new job opportunities, underscoring Foundever's commitment to Egypt’s dynamic outsourcing industry.
It also underlines Egypt's growing reputation as a leading global hub for customer experience (CX) services and IT offshoring.
The country is actively working to establish itself as a global centre for outsourcing and technological innovation, with initiatives aimed at expanding the industry, developing tech talent and digital skills, and boosting its international competitiveness.
"The ministry is committed to creating a supportive environment for investment by providing advanced digital infrastructure, forward-thinking policies, and extensive training programmes designed to equip the workforce with the technical, linguistic, and professional skills needed for global markets," Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat emphasized.
Furthermore, CEO of ITIDA Ahmed Elzaher asserts that the new centre in Luxor reflects Foundever’s commitment to tapping into Egypt's rich talent pool and contributing to the socio-economic development of Upper Egypt.
Benedita Miranda, general manager of the Multilingual Region at Foundever, also expressed enthusiasm for the company’s expansion in Egypt, highlighting its support for women through the Freelance Mama programme and the investment in Luxor, which aims to solidify Egypt’s role as a global customer service hub.
She also asserted the company’s dedication to creating job opportunities and empowering Egyptian youth.

Outsourcing in Egypt
According to a report by the Information and Decision Support Centre (IDSC), Egypt's outsourcing sector's exports increased to $3.7 billion in 2023, up from $2.4 billion in 2022.
The country also aims to boost its outsourcing sector's exports to $9 billion by 2026.
According to MCIT, over 175 companies have set up over 195 outsourcing centres in Egypt, employing over 145,000 specialists.
