Amr Diab, Sherine Abdel-Wahab, Cairokee, Tamer Ashour, TUL8TE top Billboard Arabia Music Awards

Egyptian artists Amr Diab, Sherine Abdel-Wahab, Tamer Ashour, TUL8TE, and Cairokee band achieved top awards at the first edition of the Billboard Arabia Music Awards (BBAMAs) event, which took place on Wednesday 11 December in Riyadh.

Winners of the BBAMAs were determined based on their performance on Billboard Arabia’s flagship charts during 2024.

The BBAMAs highlighted the region’s most talented artists with a lineup of live performances.

The event featured established and rising stars from the Arab world and its diaspora.

The BBAMAs had over 40 award categories, including song of the year, artist of the year, top male artist, top female artist, highest gainer, top band, top new artist, and top Arabic collaboration of the year.

Egyptian stars Tamer Ashour won the Song of the Year award with his song Haygely Mawgow, Sherine Abdel-Wahab won the Artist of the Year award, Amr Diab won the Top Male Artist award, rapper TUL8TE won the Highest Gainer award, and Cairokee band won the Top Band award.

Meanwhile, Ahmed Saad and Assala's song Sabb Farhety won the top Arabic Collaboration of the Year award.

Additionally, Palestinian-Chilean singer Elyanna won the Top New Artist award, and Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram won the Top Female Artist award.

The event, which took place at the King Fahad Cultural Centre, is part of Riyadh Music Week.
