The council issued an Arab resolution condemning Israel's incursion into the buffer zone near Syria, including areas in Jabal Al-Shaikh, Quneitra, and Rif Dimashq.
The resolution deemed Israeli aggressions a violation of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement between Syria and Israel.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the meeting reaffirmed the continued validity of the 1974 agreement under UN Security Council Resolution 350.
The resolution also condemned ongoing Israeli airstrikes targeting civilian and military sites in Syria.
The council emphasized that the Golan Heights is Syrian Arab territory and will remain so indefinitely.
Furthermore, the resolution called on the international community to compel Israel, as the occupying power, to comply with relevant international resolutions, particularly Security Council Resolution 497 of 1981, which demands Israel's withdrawal from the occupied Syrian Golan.
Consequently, the resolution mandated the Arab Group in New York to take action to convene a special session of the UN Security Council to address Israeli practices threatening international peace and security, including the recent occupation of Syrian territories since 8 December.
On Monday, Egypt condemned Israel's seizure of the demilitarized zone with Syria and the adjacent commanding sites.
The seizure followed the fall of Damascus to insurgents, ending the Assad family's 50-year rule.
