Marmoush, 25, has impressed in the Bundesliga this season, attracting interest from several top European clubs. His standout performances have fueled speculation about a possible move away from Frankfurt.
According to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato Web, Roma have identified Marmoush as their top target should Dybala leave the club. The Argentine forward was recently linked to Turkish side Galatasaray.
While Roma are eager to secure the deal, the report describes the transfer as “highly challenging” due to competition for Marmoush’s signature and his growing reputation.
Marmoush has already made headlines this season, winning the September Bundesliga Player of the Month award.
He is again in contention for the November award, competing against Bayern Munich duo Dayot Upamecano and Michael Olise, teammate Nathaniel Brown, Bayer Leverkusen’s Florian Wirtz, and Mainz’s Anthony Caci.
