“In light of the stability of the situation in Lebanon, EgyptAir announces the resumption of direct flights between Cairo and Beirut after a three-month hiatus,” read the statement.
In September, international and regional airlines, including EgyptAir, suspended flights to Lebanon as Israel intensified its military operations in the country.

A ceasefire has been in effect since 27 November. However, Israel has committed several violations of the deal.
