The Israeli forces have detained at least 15 Palestinians, including a wounded person, during a series of raids across the West Bank between Monday evening and Tuesday morning, said WAFA.

“According to the Palestinian Prisoners' Society and the Palestinian Authority Commission for Prisoners' Affairs, the detentions took place in the governorates of Nablus, Hebron, Tubas, Tulkarm, Qalqilya, Bethlehem, Salfit and Ramallah, amid widespread incursions and heavy-handed tactics by Israeli soldiers," WAFA added.

Among the detainees was a wounded person who was shot by Israeli forces during a military raid in Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus. The nature of his injury remains unknown.

The raids were accompanied by extensive searches, house demolitions, and the detention of several individuals without charge.

In Nablus, the Israeli army prevented Palestinian Red Crescent crews from entering the Balata camp to treat three people wounded by the Israeli occupation bullets.

Another Palestinian was killed by Israel's military bullets during the raid on Tulkarm camp in the northern West Bank, WAFA news agency reported.

Al Jazeera quoted the Israeli army on Tuesday as saying that its forces "with the Shin Bet and the police began an operation in Tulkarm camp" on Monday night.

Meanwhile, WAFA noted that Israel's army had destroyed a large part of the infrastructure in the Tulkarm camp.

In addition, the Israeli forces demolished two houses under construction on the pretext of lacking a license in the town of Hizma, northeast of Jerusalem.
