In Photos: Egypt Armed Forces chief of staff inspects Sa’aka’s combat efficiency

Lieutenant-General Ahmed Khalifa, chief of staff of the Egyptian Armed Forces, inspected Thursday the Thunderbolt (Sa’aka) Forces to assess their readiness and combat efficiency.

The inspection tour, attended by several armed forces leaders, is part of field follow-ups on combat training systems and methods for special forces fighters.

Khalifa also toured the training complex and observed several training activities, which showcased the Thunderbolt Forces personnel's high combat capabilities and professional field skills.

He also engaged with several fighters, discussing their methods for carrying out their tasks and their ability to utilize advancements in the training system to efficiently and effectively accomplish their missions.

The chief of staff praised the outstanding performance of the Thunderbolt Forces personnel, underscoring the General Command of the Armed Forces' commitment to providing the latest advanced training systems and tools.

These efforts aim to ensure maximum realism in training, thereby enhancing the combat capabilities of the Armed Forces personnel, Khalifa noted.

He urged the Thunderbolt Forces to maintain high morale, achieve maximum combat efficiency, and focus on developing field skills to remain at peak readiness for any mission regardless of circumstances.

During the tour, Mohamed Abul-Fotouh Gaballah, commander of the Egyptian Thunderbolt Forces, highlighted the preparation and combat readiness procedures undertaken to enable fighters to carry out their tasks in protecting the nation and safeguarding its sanctities, regardless of the sacrifices required.
