"Following the sirens that sounded at 8:37 pm (1837 GMT) in the communities surrounding the Gaza Strip, two projectiles that crossed from the northern Gaza Strip were intercepted" by the air force, the military said in a statement, hours after another projectile from Gaza fell in an open area.
In recent days, the military has intercepted several rockets fired from northern Gaza.
Since October 6, Israeli operations in Gaza have focused on the north.
UN experts have stated that the siege on northern Gaza along with the frequent evacuation orders may be a precursor to annexation, apparently permanently displacing the population.
On Friday, Israeli forces launched an assault on northern Gaza's last major health facility, Kamal Adwan Hospital, and detained its chief.
The military described it as one of the "largest operations" since the war broke out in October last year, saying they detained "over 240 terrorists in the area".
The World Health Organisation and Gaza health officials have said the assault, which ended on Saturday, left the vital facility out of service and emptied of patients.
