Egypt banks, bourse off on Tuesday to mark Xmas

The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) announced Monday that all banks in Egypt will be closed on Tuesday on the occasion of the Christmas.

All banks will resume work on Wednesday, 8 January.

Moreover, the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) announced that Tuesday is an official holiday for Christmas, with the bourse's activities to be resumed on Wednesday
