According to the Egyptian presidency, President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi, Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides, and Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis held the trilateral summit in Cairo.
"Recognising the challenges and opportunities in our region, we aim to build on our shared interests and continue working together to enhance security, economic prosperity, and sustainable development for our peoples," the statement said.
The statement further noted the three countries' ongoing dedication and mutual solidarity in addressing regional and global challenges, relying on the strategic partnership built on trust, respect, and cooperation principles.
"We reaffirm our commitment to strengthening the trilateral cooperation mechanism and expanding our trilateral collaboration with regional and international partners to tackle global challenges and promote stability," the statement read.
Egypt, Cyprus and Greece further affirmed their commitment to fostering peace and stability in the Mediterranean, Middle East, and North Africa.
The statement also addressed the Palestinian, Syria, Libya, and Sudan crises, calling on all parties to contribute to stability and refrain from provocative actions.
Additionally, the three countries reiterated the importance of ensuring maritime security and stability in the Eastern Mediterranean and the broader region.
They also pledged to continue combatting terrorism, extremism, organised crime, and human trafficking and to strengthen cooperation in intelligence sharing to protect their people and maintain regional stability.
Moreover, the statement welcomed elevating Egypt-EU relations to a comprehensive strategic partnership.
It also touched on cooperation in energy security, water security, economy, environmental protection, healthcare, culture, tourism, antiquities, and sports.
Following the summit, the three leaders held a press conference in which El-Sisi highlighted the Egyptian-Cypriot-Greek trilateral mechanism's critical role in supporting regional stability and confronting shared economic, political, and social challenges.
He said the mechanism symbolises the strong ties between their countries and has become a role model in regional integrated cooperation.
"We reaffirm the need to uphold the profound and productive cooperation among our countries," El-Sisi said, reiterating Egypt's commitment to continuing collaboration to achieve shared interests and prosperity of their peoples.
For his part, the Greek prime minister underlined the urgency of geopolitical cooperation to address different regional challenges.
"We are facing a lot of challenges, but the positive thing is that we have a common viewpoint regarding all these issues," Mitsotakis said during the press conference.
He further highlighted ongoing efforts to promote peace in the region and expressed Greece's appreciation of Egypt's efforts in protecting its maritime borders.
Meanwhile, the Cypriot president expressed concern over the escalating instability in the region. "Today, our region lacks stability and security more than ever," he said.
He called for coordinated efforts to combat irregular migration and economic difficulties. "Our joint response is so important to address these challenges in an effective manner," Christodoulides noted.
"Trilateral cooperation is crucial to promoting peace and stability in the region," he said, expressing Cyprus' rejection of interference in other countries' internal affairs and violations of their sovereignty.
The Cypriot leader emphasised his country's close relations and bilateral cooperation with Egypt across various fields.
"Egypt is a cornerstone of regional stability, and the international community must provide support," Christodoulides stressed.
According to the Egyptian presidency, the Egyptian president and his Cypriot counterpart chaired the second meeting of the joint higher governmental committee between both countries.
