In the same incident, three other soldiers were wounded, including an officer in serious condition.
The Israeli army said a fourth soldier was also wounded in the area.
They all served with the 401st Armored Brigade’s 46th Battalion, and the troops were hit by a large explosive device that was detonated against a tank in Beit Hanoun.
During Wednesday’s combat in northern Gaza, the Israeli occupation army carried out a strike against a school-shelter in Jabalia, for displaced Palestinians, killing at least nine people, the Civil Defense reported.
