WAFA correspondent reported that Israeli warplanes struck an apartment in the Abu Al-Ouf building near Al-Sham'a Mosque in southeastern Gaza City, killing and injuring several residents.

In a separate strike, Israeli warplanes targeted a residential building belonging to the Tafesh family in the same neighbourhood, killing one and injuring three others.

Earlier in the day, the Israeli army struck an apartment near Al-Kanz Mosque in the Al-Rimal neighbourhood, west of Gaza City, according to WAFA.

The attack caused the killing of three people, including a woman and a young girl, while injuring ten others.

The health ministry in Gaza said on Saturday that 32 people were killed in the Palestinian territory in the past 48 hours, taking the overall death toll to 46,537.

The ministry said at least 109,571 people have been wounded in more than 15 months of the Israeli genocidal war on the strip.

Civil defence forces in Gaza said on Saturday they face an uphill battle to rescue those wounded in Israeli strikes because the Israeli army targets their teams and put an embargo on the entry of spare parts to their vehicles.

A spokesperson for the defence forces said Israel is dropping massive bombs on residential blocks across Gaza with the sole purpose of killing as many civilians as possible and destroying entire buildings.

Also on Saturday, Palestinian militants fired a barrage of rockets from the southern parts of the strip on Karm Abu Salem in the Gaza Envelope.
