Expressing their enthusiasm about Kouka joining the team, Le Havre AC shared a photo of the Egyptian player at the club's stadium, captioned "In his new arena," illustrating the anticipation surrounding his arrival.

On their official X account, the club announced, “The 31-year-old Egyptian striker has officially inked a deal with HAC until the end of the season.”

Kouka previously joined Rio Ave in Portugal in August 2024 on a free transfer from Turkish club Alanyaspor.

Despite his contract with Rio Ave set to run until June 2025, the agreement was terminated, rendering Kouka a free agent this winter.

Beginning his European journey at Rio Ave FC U19 after departing Egyptian giants Ahly in 2011, Kouka swiftly progressed to the senior team in 2012, showcasing his talent and skill on the field.

His football career has taken him to various clubs and leagues, including stints at SC Braga in Portugal, a temporary move to Olympiacos in Greece, followed by a permanent transfer in the 2020 season.

Subsequent spells at Konyaspor in Turkey, Alanyaspor, and a move to Pendikspor on a free transfer in September 2023 mark the nomadic nature of his career.

Returning to Alanyaspor in February 2024 before becoming a free agent at the conclusion of the previous season, Kouka's experience and versatility make him a valuable asset for Le Havre AC as they navigate their position in the Ligue 1 standings.

With international experience for the Egyptian national team since 2013, Kouka has participated in 32 matches for the Pharaohs, netting six goals and showcasing his prowess on the international stage.

Kouka's track record includes securing two Greek league titles, a Greek national cup, and a Portuguese cup, underlining his success and adaptability across different leagues.

Currently positioned 17th in Ligue 1 with 12 points, Le Havre AC faces the challenge of improving their standing in the league.

They will rely on Kouka's skills and contribution to aid them in their quest for a higher position as they aim to climb the rankings and make an impact in Ligue 1.
