In a statement, the military spokesman said the visit came under the directives of the political leadership.
It was conducted as part of the Armed Forces General Command's ongoing efforts to inform various segments of society about the army's capabilities, which enable it to safeguard the country's security and protect its sacred values, the statement read.
It indicated that the visit's primary goal was to strengthen citizens' awareness of Egypt's continuous development and enhancement of capabilities across various fields.
The event began with a speech by Mohamed Abul-Fotouh Gaballah, the commander of the Egyptian Thunderbolt Forces.
Gaballah welcomed the attendees and emphasized the importance of such visits in fostering the bond between Egyptians and the Armed Forces.
After that, the delegation watched a documentary film about the history and development of the Egyptian Thunderbolt Forces, showcasing their heroism and sacrifices.
They also observed several of their training activities that manifested their high combat efficiency, professional field skills, and self-confidence.
Later, many practical demonstrations of different shooting scenarios highlighted the fighters' remarkable precision in hitting targets.
Moreover, the delegation had the opportunity to tour specialized training fields equipped with the latest training systems and equipment.
They also saw an exhibition of weapons, equipment, and advanced vehicles used by the Thunderbolt Forces.
At the end of the visit, the delegation expressed their pride in the Armed Forces and praised their high level of readiness and combat preparedness.
They also affirmed that Egypt will remain a safe and stable country, thanks to the unwavering support of the Egyptian people, its wise leadership, and the courageous Armed Forces.
