"The occupation is expected to hand over shortly a list containing the names of 90 prisoners from the categories of women and children who are set to be released on the first day of the ceasefire," Hamas said in a statement.
In its statement, Hamas said the truce deal stipulated "the release of 30 Palestinian prisoners in exchange for one civilian detainee", adding that the 90 prisoners expected for release Sunday would be drawn from a submitted list of 120 women and children in total.
Meanwhile, the Israeli Prison Authority has started the transfer of 90 Palestinian prisoners from various detention facilities to Ofer Prison.
"After political approval, the Red Cross will transport the prisoners from Ofer prison to designated release points", the Israeli Prison Authority said in a statement.
It added that Palestinian prisoners will not be released until the three Israeli captives are in the custody of the Israeli occupation army.
Israel Hayom reported that from the 90 Palestinian detainees set to be released, 78 will be heading to the West Bank and 12 to East Jerusalem.
Meanwhile, the Palestinian Prisoners' Media Office reported that Israeli forces have raided the homes of some Jerusalemite prisoners expected to be released in the first phase of the agreement.
The occupation forces threatened the families, prohibiting gatherings to welcome the released prisoners, according to Al Jazeera.
They also banned the display of the Palestinian flag or any resistance banners. Families were restricted to receiving only first-degree relatives as visitors.
