The campaign, backed by several government agencies and NGOs targetting children aged 6 to 18, intends to raise awareness about mental health and provide tools to prevent and address violence in schools, sports facilities, and public spaces.
The statement added that the campaign will train teachers, trainers and parents to deal with problems effectively, offering AI-powered mental health support to monitor violent behaviour.
Furthermore, the campaign will feature diverse activities, including teacher training workshops to equip educators and administrators with conflict resolution and rapid intervention skills.
Interactive sessions will also be organized for children to foster emotional intelligence and cultivate a culture of non-violence.
An intensive media campaign will highlight success stories and showcase positive role models to promote healthy behaviours.
The initiative comes days following the public outcry over a viral video depicting three high school girls assaulting a younger sixth-grader in the schoolyard of an international school in New Cairo.
The assault at the New Cairo school left the younger student with a fractured nose bone and multiple head bruises, according to the victim's father.
In response, the education ministry expelled the students involved in the attack and suspended those who filmed the incident and shared it on social media.
