Speaking to the club’s media team, the 25-year-old expressed excitement about working under Pep Guardiola.
Marmoush also outlined his ambitions to contribute to City's success in England and Europe.
"This is a day I will never forget. To sign for Manchester City — one of the best teams in the world — is an amazing feeling. I'm excited to get started, meet my teammates, and help the team achieve more success," he said.
Marmoush, who signed a four-and-a-half-year deal, highlighted Guardiola's reputation for improving players as a major factor in his decision to join the Etihad Stadium outfit.
"Pep is one of the best coaches in football history; I want to learn from him, take in all his knowledge, and use it to develop my game. I know there's always room for improvement, and working with Pep and his staff is an incredible opportunity," he continued.
The Egyptian international, who can operate across multiple attacking positions, emphasized his versatility as one of his key strengths.
"I've played as a winger, a striker, and even in midfield. I feel most comfortable in the number 10 role, where I can turn quickly and attack the goal, but I'm ready to play wherever the team needs me," Marmoush explained.
Marmoush has scored 20 goals and provided 14 assists for Frankfurt in all competitions this season.
He expressed enthusiasm about teaming up with prolific striker Erling Haaland.
"Erling is a goal machine; I'm excited to play alongside him, learn from him, and hopefully assist him on the pitch," he said.
Reflecting on his journey from Egypt to Germany and now England, Marmoush called his move to City a proud moment for his family and country.
"It's an honour to be the first Egyptian to play for Manchester City. The Premier League is the most-followed league in Egypt, and this move is a dream come true for me and many players from my country," he added.
Marmoush joins City at a time when they are battling on multiple fronts, including the Premier League and Champions League.
He said he is eager to adapt to the Premier League's intensity and help the team win trophies.
"I know the Premier League is a big step up in terms of intensity," Marmoush said.
"But I'm ready for the challenge. This is just the beginning of my journey with City, and I hope to help the team achieve great things," he concluded.
