El-Sisi's remarks came in celebration of the International Day of Education, marked annually on 24 January.

"Education is the pathway to a better future. We are working diligently to develop all the stages of the educational process and keep up with continuous progress," the Egyptian president wrote on his official Facebook page.

He highlighted the National Council for Education, Research, and Innovation's role as a comprehensive umbrella for developing Egypt's education system and creating comprehensive educational strategies based on an integrated vision.

President El-Sisi said that this development will be achieved after studying the proposals of relevant state institutions to ensure a positive connection between education and the local, regional, and global job markets.

"Educational strategies must be long-term and stable, grounded in a clear and sustainable vision, so that they are not affected by changes in leadership or administrations," the president stated.

He affirmed that these efforts will ensure continuity in achieving the desired progress in the education sector.

"I ask Allah the Almighty for the success of national efforts to achieve a comprehensive educational renaissance that meets the aspirations of our children and contributes to building a brighter future for Egypt," El-Sisi concluded.

According to the United Nations website, this year's theme for the day is "AI and education: Preserving human agency in a world of automation."

The International Day of Education highlights the critical role of education in promoting peace and development worldwide. It emphasizes the need for inclusive, equitable, and quality education for all.
