He also affirmed Cairo’s readiness to expand trade exchange and economic cooperation between Egypt and African countries and provide technical support and training programs toward capacity-building in the continent.
During the phone calls, FM Abdelatty reviewed Egypt's efforts to boost continental security and stability, stressing the importance of coordinating to combat terrorism, climate change, and food security.
The Egyptian top diplomat underlined the need to consolidate cooperation among African countries within the framework of the African Union and other regional organizations to enhance development in Africa.
The African foreign ministers expressed their appreciation for Egypt's leading role in supporting African issues, reaffirming their keenness to strengthen economic and diplomatic cooperation with the country, read the statement.
