The 25-year old completed his move to the Citizens on Thursday only to be fielded by Pep Guardiola in his starting eleven two days later.
The prolific goal-scorer for Man City, Haaland, notched a goal and an assist in the game but took time to commend Marmoush's immediate impact with the team.
In the first half, you could see he has something special," Haaland remarked post-game. "There's a reason City brought him in; he possesses unique qualities. He seamlessly integrated into the team, and it's crucial to build chemistry with him quickly given the important matches ahead," he added.
"Boosting his confidence is key, and I believe he'll be a fantastic addition to our squad. Welcoming new faces is always refreshing. I've been the new guy before, bringing in a different energy and personality," the Norwegian star shared.
"Meeting new people and playing alongside talented teammates is what we all aspire to. Marmoush had a stellar first half of the season at Eintracht Frankfurt, and we hope he replicates that success with us in the latter part of the season," Haaland concluded.
Following Saturday's triumph, defending champions Manchester City climbed into the top four with 41 points, trailing league leaders Liverpool by 12 points.
Man City will take on Club Brugge on Wednesday in a crucial Champions League game. Marmoush won't feature in this game as he is not eligible to play at this stage due to UEFA rules.
