The Palestinian health ministry said Laila Al-Khatib, was shot in the head by Israeli forces in Jenin, northern the West Bank, where Israeli occupation forces continued their aggression for the sixth consecutive day.
The death comes as Israel has launched a major military operation in the occupied West Bank and suspected Jewish settlers have rampaged through two Palestinian towns.
At least 15 Palestinians were killed in Jenin and its refugee camp in the latest raid.
Palestinian health officials said another Palestinian man was killed Saturday in Balata, a refugee camp in the Central West Bank.
Dire situation
The Director of UNRWA Affairs in the West Bank confirmed that the humanitarian situation in the northern West Bank has deteriorated dangerously in recent weeks, prompting citizens to almost completely leave the Jenin refugee camp.
Roland Frederick confirmed that the Israeli assault has resulted in the killing of 15 citizens, the injury and arrest of dozens, as well as widespread destruction of citizens' properties, public and private facilities, and infrastructure, including water and electricity networks, as reported by WAFA news agency.
He added that the military escalation and the deteriorating security situation have caused a mass displacement of families from Jenin camp, directly affecting daily life.
The UNRWA official also stated that suspending educational activities in UNRWA schools in the area was inevitable due to the Israeli escalation.
He pointed to the suspension of healthcare services in the camps, as accessing them has become challenging under the current circumstances.
