Canadian AGF Freezers inaugurates new office in Egypt expanding global presence

AGF Freezers Ltd., a global Canadian manufacturer of food freezing and cooling equipment, announced Monday the inauguration of its new office in Egypt's New Cairo district as a part of the company’s plan to expand globally.

In a statement, the company said this new facility highlights its dedication to enhancing customer service across the Egyptian market.

AGF Freezers, founded in 2010, combines Canadian engineering and design with European components and global manufacturing capabilities. 

AGF freezing solutions aim to enhance food production efficiency worldwide. 

The company serves international markets and has established offices in Europe, South America, China, Australasia, and the Middle East/Africa.

The statement added that the inauguration of the Egypt office represents a significant milestone in AGF Freezers' mission to improve operational efficiency and customer support. 

It clarified that this office will feature a fully operational local engineering team capable of providing a wide range of services, including same-day in-plant troubleshooting, scheduled maintenance, retrofit projects, and spare parts supply.

 

 

“This new office is a testament to our unwavering commitment to our customers in Egypt. By establishing a local presence, we aim to deliver same-day response times and seamless field support while strengthening our partnerships with local industry experts," said Mourade El Hassouni, general manager of AGF Freezers for the Middle East and Africa.

"We are also excited to announce our recent collaborations with Mr. Maher Makram, CEO of Star Beacon, and Eng. Sherif Hafez, General Director of Kingspan Egypt," he added. 

Egypt adopts a strategic vision of empowering the private sector and attracting new investors to the local market.

This vision is outlined in its State Ownership Policy, which paves the path for further engagement of the private sector in local economic activities.
