Lieutenant-General Ahmed Khalifa, chief of staff of the armed forces, and senior leaders of the main military branches accompanied General Saqr.
During the visit, the general commander was briefed on a detailed presentation outlining the operational security measures for the Red Sea Naval Base.
He also observed a series of training activities, demonstrating the high level of combat efficiency displayed by the naval forces. Following this, he inspected several naval units to ensure their readiness.
He engaged with specialized teams to discuss their methods for executing assigned tasks and their mastery of modern combat systems recently introduced into the naval fleet.

Saqr also met with a group of naval personnel, conveying the greetings and appreciation of President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi, the supreme commander of the armed forces.
He emphasized the armed forces' commitment to enhancing and modernizing the navy's combat capabilities in accordance with the latest systems. This will enable the protection of Egypt's coastline and territorial waters while addressing all maritime threats across various strategic directions.

The defence minister urged naval personnel to maintain the highest efficiency levels and combat readiness to execute their missions under all circumstances.
He affirmed that the armed forces, with their advanced combat capabilities and highly trained personnel, remain fully prepared to safeguard the nation and its sanctities amid the current regional challenges.
