Earlier, the Civil Defence Operations Room in Suez received a fire alert.

In response, the director of Civil Defence Forces dispatched 12 fire trucks to the site to contain the flames and prevent them from spreading to nearby fishing boats and launches.

Petroleum companies in Suez further supported the fire containment efforts, sending fire-fighting teams equipped with advanced tools and long-range water cannons.

Heavy machinery, such as loaders, was also used to clear debris from the fire, aiding civil defence teams in gaining better access and controlling the flames.

According to media reports, the fire consumed several fishing boats and recreational launches.
