In a meeting on Sunday with the Western Military Zone, the tribal leaders praised the Armed Forces for their commitment to safeguarding national security and their ongoing support for development projects across various border cities and villages.
The meeting, which also included security leaders and civil society representatives in the governorate, was held in line with the directives of the General Command of the Armed Forces to enhance communication with tribal leaders throughout border areas.
During the visit, Staff Major General Hatem Mostafa Zahran, Commander of the Western Military Zone, conveyed the greetings of Minister of Defence and Military Production General Abdel-Meguid Saqr and Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa to the attendees.
He stressed that the Armed Forces was keen on providing all forms of support to the people of the border governorates to support the state's comprehensive development efforts.
