This came during the meeting held in Cairo between Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi and First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah.
The Egyptian presidency stated that El-Sisi and Al-Sabah discussed the current regional situation.
During the meeting, El-Sisi stressed the critical need to strengthen collective efforts to guarantee the delivery of sufficient humanitarian aid to Gaza and maintain the ceasefire, thus ensuring its full implementation.
He added that these efforts will contribute to restoring regional stability, paving the way for a political path that facilitates the implementation of the two-state solution in line with international resolutions.
Furthermore, the Egyptian president conveyed Egypt's appreciation for Kuwait’s consistent support of the Palestinian cause and its prominent role in humanitarian efforts.

Moreover, El-Sisi highlighted the deep strategic ties between the two countries and their peoples, stressing Egypt's dedication to strengthening cooperation with Kuwait across all areas, especially in the economic, investment, security, and defence sectors.
He also expressed his appreciation for the emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
For his part, the Kuwaiti Minister of Defense and Interior conveyed the greetings of Kuwait's emir to President El-Sisi. He affirmed the deep pride that Kuwait's leadership and people take in the historical relations between Egypt and Kuwait.
