"King Abdullah II will meet with US President Donald Trump at the White House on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, after His Majesty received an invitation letter from President Trump last week," the royal palace said in a statement.
It comes after Trump proposed to "clean out" Gaza by sending Palestinians to Jordan and Egypt.
Both Amman and Cairo -- key US allies in the region -- have repeatedly rejected the proposal, alongside other countries in the region.
During meetings with European officials in Brussels on Wednesday, King Abdullah reiterated "Jordan's unwavering opinion on the necessity of establishing Palestinians on their land and gaining their legitimate rights, in accordance with the two-state solution".
He also stressed "the need for sustaining the ceasefire in Gaza" and called for surging humanitarian aid to the Palestinian territory.
Jordan's Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi similarly said on Monday that "any discussion on an alternate homeland... is rejected".
On Saturday, top diplomats from Egypt, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Qatar rejected any forcible displacement of Palestinians during a meeting in Cairo.
