The new board members are Ashraf El-Sheehy, a former Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and member of the Protectors of Homeland Party; Ihab El-Tamawy, Deputy Chairman of the Constitutional and Legislative Affairs Committee in the House of Representatives and member of the Future of Homeland Party Party;  Diaa El-Din Dawood, an independent Member of Parliament; and Professor of Political Science Dr Amr Hamzawy.

Rashwan, speaking on behalf of the Dialogue Board, warmly welcomed the four new members, expressing confidence in their valuable contributions at this critical junction.

President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi launched the National Dialogue in May 2023, bringing together officials, members of various political parties and currents, as well as representatives of civil society organizations to address Egypt's diverse political, economic, and social issues.

The National Dialogue makes recommendations on political and legislative reforms to the president.
