The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) forecasts that most regions will experience frigid temperatures on Wednesday night and early morning.
The EMA expects light, potentially moderate rain over the northeastern coasts and parts of northern Lower Egypt, occasionally extending to the northwestern coasts.
Meanwhile, strong winds will affect most regions intermittently from Wednesday to Friday.
Additionally, morning fog is expected on agricultural and highway roads near water bodies from Thursday to Monday.
Despite the cold and blustery conditions midweek, temperatures will rise slightly and gradually over the weekend. From Saturday through Monday, a 2-3 degree increase is expected across most regions.
From Wednesday to Monday, daytime temperatures in Cairo and Lower Egypt will remain between 18-19 degrees Celsius midweek and rise to 20-22 degrees on Saturday. Nighttime lows will drop to 10-12 degrees.
On the northern coasts, daytime temperatures will be around 17 degrees on Wednesday, increasing slightly to 21 degrees by Monday. Nighttime lows will dip to 10-11 degrees.
In northern Upper Egypt, daytime temperatures will start at 20 degrees and rise to 23 degrees by Monday, while nighttime lows will be within the range of 6-8 degrees.
Southern Upper Egypt will experience warmer conditions. Daytime temperatures will rise from 22 degrees on Wednesday to 25 degrees by Monday, while nighttime lows will drop to 10-11 degrees.
