The European Gaza Hospital east of Khan Younis received the bodies of a 44-year-old man and a seriously injured individual following the Israeli bombing of a gathering of citizens east of Rafah while they were inspecting their homes in the Abu Halawa area, according to the Palestinian WAFA news agency.
Munir al-Bursh, director general of the health ministry in Gaza, said Tuesday that at least 92 Palestinians have been killed and more than 822 wounded by Israeli fire in violation of the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas, which went into effect on 19 January.
Israeli warplanes also bombed homes in western Rafah, according to WAFA.
Over the past two days, Israeli shelling of Rafah killed two Palestinians and injured several others.
The death toll in Gaza has risen to 48,222 and wounded 111,665 - the majority of whom are children and women - since the start of the Israeli genocidal war on the strip in October 2023.
