According to the Egyptian presidency, the call primarily focused on the latest developments in the occupied Palestinian territories.

The two leaders reaffirmed the consolidation of the Egyptian and Jordanian stance, highlighting the importance of fully implementing the ceasefire agreement in Gaza between Hamas and Israel.

They also stressed the necessity of continuing the release of captives and facilitating the entry of humanitarian aid to alleviate the suffering of people in the Strip.

President El-Sisi and King Abdullah also urged an immediate halt to the actions of Israeli occupation forces against Palestinians in the West Bank.

In addition, the two leaders reaffirmed their commitment to "working closely with US President Trump to achieve lasting peace in the Middle East" by leading a process that ensures the long-awaited establishment of a Palestinian state along the 4 June 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.

On Tuesday, Trump repeated his proposal of displacing Palestinians from Gaza in a meeting with King Abdullah II in the White House.

In a thread posted on the king's X account following the meeting, Abdullah said he "reiterated Jordan's steadfast position against the displacement of Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank."

Egyptian sources told Al-Arabiya News TV channel that Egypt's stance on the Gaza file remains unchanged.

Furthermore, Egyptian security sources told Reuters that El-Sisi would not travel to Washington DC for talks at the White House if the agenda included Trump's displacement proposal.

Similarly, the Egyptian foreign ministry affirmed Cairo's intention to present a comprehensive plan for reconstructing the Gaza Strip while ensuring Palestinians remain on their land.

President El-Sisi and King Abdullah also discussed preparations for the emergency Arab summit in Egypt on 27 February.

Egypt is actively mobilizing Arab, Islamic, and international support to reject the displacement of Palestinians firmly.
