The club confirmed that assistant coaches Ahmed Saleh and Ahmed Abu Muslim will take charge on an interim basis for Thursday’s fixture against Talae El-Geish while they search for a new foreign head coach.
Dumas, 57, leaves after a disappointing tenure in which his only win came against Zamalek, thanks to a goal from Joseph Jonathan.
Modern Sport will hire a new manager soon to improve their situation and escape the relegation zone.
