Moreover, CAPMAS estimated that the country's labour force increased by 2.8 percent to 33.124 million individuals in Q4, up from 32.218 million in Q3.

The male unemployment rate decreased to 3.9 percent of the total male workforce in Q4, down from 4.2 percent in Q3.
Meanwhile, the female unemployment rate dropped to 16.6 percent of the total female workforce in Q4, down from 18.2 percent in Q3.
The CAPMAS report also indicated that youth unemployment, especially among those aged 15-29, accounted for 64.6 percent of the unemployed population.
The unemployment rate among intermediate, post-secondary, or higher education holders slightly dropped to 84.2 percent in Q4 from 84.5 percent in Q3.
Unemployment among those holding a university degree or higher slightly decreased to 44.6 percent in Q4, down from 44.9 percent in Q3.
