At least 12 people, including an elderly man and children, were injured by live fire during an ongoing Israeli raid on Nablus' Old City.
A young man was hospitalized after being run over by an Israeli military vehicle.
Amid Ahmed, director of the Red Crescent's Emergency and Ambulance Centre in Nablus, told WAFA that eight people suffered gunshot wounds to the lower limbs, two to the hand, one to the pelvis, and a child sustained shrapnel injury to the hand and face. Similarly, dozens suffered from tear gas inhalation.
Ahmed also said Israeli forces blocked ambulance crews from entering Zafer Al-Masry School near the Old City.
Israeli forces detained a young man from the area, whose identity remains unknown, WAFA reported.
Moreover, during the raid, Israeli forces opened fire on school students in the city, Quds News Network reported, noting that several of them were injured in the attack.
Meanwhile, sources told Al Jazeera that students and children remain trapped inside schools, unable to leave due to the continuous Israeli presence in the city.
In Jenin, the situation has grown increasingly dire. The Media Committee in Jenin refugee camp reported that Israeli forces have arrested more than 150 Palestinians and subjected dozens to field interrogations. The assault has also left 25 people dead and forced the displacement of over 20,000 residents.
Essential services have been severely impacted, with Israeli forces cutting off the water supply to four major hospitals and 35 percent of Jenin's residents. The Committee added that Jenin and its surrounding areas are experiencing a total blackout and severe shortages in food and other necessities.
Amid the Israeli assault, more than 470 homes and structures have been either partially or wholly destroyed. Israeli forces have reportedly turned civilian homes into military outposts and fired live ammunition extensively at houses.
The humanitarian toll continues to mount, with the Media Committee urging the international community and human rights organizations to intervene, secure aid for displaced residents, and stop ongoing "Israeli occupation crimes" against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank.
Dubbed "Iron Wall," Israeli attacks on north West Bank cities since the beginning of this year have killed at least 73 people, including 38 in Jenin, 15 in Tubas, seven in Nablus, eight in Tulkarm, three in Hebron, two in Bethlehem, and one in Jerusalem, Palestinian news agency WAFA reported Thursday. Among the fatalities are 10 children, three women, and two elderly individuals.
Israeli forces have detained about 380 Palestinians in the governorates of Jenin, Tulkarm, and Tubas since the beginning of the ongoing Israeli assault, the Palestinian Prisoner's Society (PPS) said Thursday.
