Services will start as usual at 5:15 am, but will run an hour later than usual, according to a statement released on Wednesday.
The first metro line, connecting New Marg in northern Cairo with Helwan in the south, will start operation at 5:15 am daily. The last train will depart at 12:15 am from Helwan and 12:30 am from New Marg.
The second metro line, which runs between Shobra el Khema in Qalyubia and El Monib in Giza, will also begin service at 5:15 am, with the last trains departing at 12:40 am from both terminals.
The third metro line, which connects Adli Mansour in east Cairo with Cairo University and Rod El-Farag, will extend its closing time to 2 am instead of 1 am.
The first trains will leave Adli Mansour at 5:15 am to Cairo University and at 5:20 am to Rod El-Farag. Trains from Rod El-Farag and Cairo University to Adli Mansour will both depart at 5:15 am.
The last trains will leave Adli Mansour at 12:06 am to Cairo University and at 12:02 am to Rod El-Farag. The final departures from Rod El-Farag and Cairo University to Adli Mansour will be at 12:26 am and 12:23 am, respectively.
The final transfer between Line 1 and Line 2 at Sadat Station will take place at 1 am, while the last connecting trains between Line 1 and Line 3 at Gamal Abdel Nasser Station, and between Line 2 and Line 3 at Attaba Station, will meet at 12:30 am.
At Nasser Station, the last transfer between Line 3 and Line 1 is at 12:45 am to Cairo University and 12:41 am to Rod El-Farag. At Attaba Station, the last transfer between Line 3 and Line 2 is at 12:40 am to Cairo University and 12:45 am to Rod El-Farag.
The last train from Cairo University on Line 3 departs at 12:20 am.
The LRT, which connects Adli Mansour with eastern Cairo and the New Administrative Capital, will operate from 5:56 am to 11:30 pm.
Passengers will be informed of transfer schedules and service adjustments via station announcements throughout Ramadan to ensure smooth travel.
