The Embassy of Mexico in Egypt facilitated a donation in collaboration with the General Directorate of Historical and Cultural Heritage of the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs (SRE) and the Network of Libraries and Archives of the Historic Centre of Mexico City (RBACH).
This donation included 32 publications covering various aspects of Mexican history, culture, and heritage. These works will enrich the Bibliotheca Alexandrina’s collection, offering Egyptian researchers, academics, and readers greater access to resources on Mexico’s cultural legacy.
During the event, Ambassador Leonora Rueda remarked, “This initiative reflects Mexico’s commitment to diplomatic culture as a means of fostering dialogue and cooperation between our two countries.”
She also stressed that the influence of culture and knowledge transcends borders and barriers and enhances mutual understanding and rapprochement between peoples.
