The deceased were also taken to the hospital's morgue under the Public Prosecution's supervision.
Still, authorities are investigating the cause and circumstances behind the accident.
Egypt's road accident fatalities declined to 5,861 in 2023, compared to 7,762 in 2022.
However, injuries increased from 55,991 in 2022 to 71,016 in 2023, according to the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS).
