According to the Egyptian army, the exercise involved elements from Egypt’s Thunderbolt Forces and India’s Special Forces and was conducted as part of the Egyptian Armed Forces' ongoing joint training programme with allied and friendly nations.
The training included theoretical lectures to unify operational concepts and a series of practical drills that demonstrated the participants' advanced field skills, combat capabilities, and ability to execute special operations under various conditions.

The exercise also featured conventional and unconventional live-fire exercises, which showcased the troops' precision and proficiency in engaging targets from stationary and mobile positions.
The exercise reflected the high level of coordination and operational readiness achieved by the participating forces, enabling them to carry out joint missions efficiently with skill and professionalism.
The third and last edition of the exercise was held in Egypt in January 2024.
