"Yemen: A Fractured Reality", an exhibition by award-winning photojournalist Asmaa Waguih. The exhibition focuses on the people of Yemen who are caught up in a tragic civil war. This new exhibition is a sequel to the gallery’s series of photographic shows that highlight contemporary visual media from global conflict zones (closing 13 March).

"My Favourite Things 9" annual group exhibition is promoting and supporting up and coming women artists in Egypt. “Zikr” (remembrance) exhibition features works by Mohamed Hassan, Rana Chalabi, and Catherine Bakhoum. In the spirit of the holy month of Ramadan, the gallery is presenting a dedicated collection of works that coincide with this spiritual time of year. This exhibition sees a curated assortment of works under the unifying theme of zikr (remembrance), the form of worship in reverent remembrance of God performed and recited repeatedly in submission to his grace and mercy. The act of remembrance is most notably associated with the Sufi rite, and often involves a specific posture, breathing and movement accompanied by recurrent utterances of the various names of God and supplications from the Islamic scriptures. Indeed, the Holy Quran itself is considered by Muslims to be the preeminent form of zikr, a potent and omnipotent reminder from God conveyed through the prophets and messengers, as well as our response to that remembrance, signifying a reciprocal interaction between the human and divine (1- 29 March).

Margo Veillon Gallery of Modern Egyptian Art and Oriental Hall

"Reflections of the Nile (or The Nile through Swiss Eyes)" is an exhibition displaying the mesmerizing photography of Swiss artist Margo Veillon (1907–2003). Her work captures the beauty and vitality of the Nile as it winds through Egypt—from Aswan and Luxor to Meniya and Cairo. The exhibition not only honors Veillon’s artistic legacy but also sparks a meaningful dialogue about water’s critical role in our lives and the urgency of its preservation.
